When considering biofuels, be conscious of those created by waste versus those that require farmers to choose between feeding humans and fueling their cars. There are many programs making biofuels from waste cellulose, waste vegetable oil and other otherwise disposed of products. And there are really exciting companies working to make fuel from algae that require no farmland, very little energy input, and is almost infinitely renewable.
