Namaste – the divine in me, salutes the divine in you. Amy Galland
I started this online project when I decided to start the 92-day juice feast as described on www.juicefeasting.com and to return to doing something I love, teaching yoga. The blog was an opportunity for me to keep a record of what was going on for me on the fast (feast). And a way for me to share what I do when I teach yoga and what that means and has meant to me. On the fast (feast) I struggled with boredom. When I got too experimental with juice blends, I made gross stuff by accident and couldn’t drink it (warning to future juice-feasters: don’t use too many mustard greens …), and the time it takes to clean the juicer after each go and to do 2 enemas/day started really getting to me. I felt chained to the fast. And I broke it. And then I really felt ill. So I went back on it. I broke it again. And then I found a way that worked for me – juice and salad (a la Gil Jacobs, genius-man). And I’m on again. Abhyasa and Vairagya. In this way, I salute the divine within me. In yoga, I salute the divine within you. Without judgment for my slips, as I got back on the horse in a saddle more comfortable. As will you. Every day. Salute the divine within you – Have a namaste. xx
